This blog has now reached it's end. The American Adventure has finished. Will there be a sequel in the near future? One will never know, but for now let's let the credits roll...

Chapter sawng

Inspired by the beautiful day to write a song.

Beautiful day - KJ

I wake up to the sun
Shining through my window.
Not a cloud in sight
Everything's all aglow.

I feel the sunshine on my face
I feel the rustling breeze
The birds are singing in the sky
It's a beautiful day.

I look up to the blue sky and...

God, I thank you
God, I thank you
For this beautiful day.
God, I thank you,
God, I thank you,
For this beautiful day.

I see the vibrant colours
You've painted across your world.
Every season you've made
a canvas so wonderful.

I see a smile on every face
The joy of being alive
The cross, the face of Jesus,
It's a beautiful day.

I look up to the blue sky and....

God, I thank you
God, I thank you
For this beautiful day
God, I thank you,
God, I thank you
For this beautiful day.

Even though the clouds return
Even when the rain must fall
Even when the colours fade
When this beauty has all gone

Even when the good things end
When the sun no longer shines
I know that a new day comes
With the rising of Your Son

God, I thank you
God, I thank you
For this beautiful day
God, I thank you,
God, I thank you
For this beautiful day!!

****EDIT****
Ok, so I know that it says 'song' when all you see are words. So, to help you sing along with me, I made a scratch track.

The mix is all rubbish because this was made with nothing but 'Garageband' and to top it off, I have the flu which means my nose is blocked. And I sound like a duck.

I hereby invite anyone who reads and hears this to spread it around, re-record it, overdub it, make a video with it, or just sing along with it.

Enjoy.
