This blog has now reached it's end. The American Adventure has finished. Will there be a sequel in the near future? One will never know, but for now let's let the credits roll...

Chapter 1001 - The Superbowl Adventure
Ok I know my updates have been sparse as of late. Sorry la. Busy.
My blog. My rules. Quit complaining.
Firstly, let me direct your attention to the post below. The 'Flood' post. There are now pictures and a video for you to take a look at. Why on earth you would want to do that is beyond me, but I put them on here anyway. I guess it's more for me than anything. I don't know why but that whole ordeal is probably going to be one I don't forget in a long long time. And it's a nice anecdote to have - I saved my apartment from flooding.
So yes, check that out below.
Now onward.
Last Sunday was the Superbowl. It's the climax of the American Football season.
A team played another team.
There were some points involved.
There was some whistle blowing.
There were some intervals.
There were alot of commercials (you can actually view them on youtube).
Some players got injured.
A team scored more points than the other.
That team won.
The other lost.
There was a trophy.
It was handed to the winning team.
The losing team didn't get a trophy.
There were a lot of fingerprints on the trophy.
There was a lot of confetti in the stadium.
How exciting.
In all honesty though, the whole deal is probably just yet another excuse to eat lots of junk together with friends. We had tamales, nachos, hot wings, soda, lemonade, brownies... And I was eating more than I was watching the game.
I'm not a real sporty person to begin with, so I guess it's just me. But I certainly get more kick out of watching the Rugby world cup.
So anyway.
Food for the day.
Wings. Delicious wings.
Nachos.
Cheese dip.
Salsa.
Guacamole.
Tamales.
The ZONE.
The Gang.
I sure had fun. I ate a ton of junk. I cheered for a team I had never heard of before in my entire life. I got excited when other people did. I went 'ooh' and 'aah' at the strategic plays which I understood as much as I understand Portuguese. I ate a lot of delicious brownies.
And I'm got a sore throat.
Don't worry. I'm fine-ish now. I hope.

Here's a much delayed LPW video to round things off.
Till next time. Whenever that is. Hopefully soon. Unless I get buried in rehearsals again. Cheers.

Chapter Yingle Bells - The Christmas Adventure Pt.2
Ok now this is the official continuation of the Christmas Adventure. I'm labelling this one the Eggnog Adventure.
I actually went out for a real nice adventure today, but I want to keep things chronological, so I guess I'll post this one first and then another tomorrow.
Firstly, here's a Merry Christmas picture that everyone can enjoy.
Ok, Disclaimers are needed here. The alcohol isn't entirely mine. It's being shared amongst several people, so once you read this Mum, stop worrying. I'm not going to consume ALL of it.
Now what you might see there somewhere is a little box labelled 'Eggnog'. I decided to try some. It's a traditional Christmas drink and it's one of those Hate It or Love It drinks.
So my ingredients.
This is then me shaking the eggnog with all my might....
....sniffing the strange drink...
... Pre-Rum Eggnog...
... the important ingredient...
... Post-Rum Eggnog...
... The taste...
.... and the results.
I'm not drunk. It's a funny face. Deal with it.
I have to say. It's a weird taste. It really is one of those love it or hate it drinks. And I'll be the first to sit on the fence. It's... weird. It's got that 'cake batter' kind of taste, you know when you like the spoon when mixing cake mix? It's kind of similar. Egg and milk I guess, that's why.
Anyhoo, I don't recommend it to anyone unless you're willing to try a 'Love or Hate' drink. The fence is small. I took it up. So if you all want to try it, don't ask my opinion, and don't sit on the fence.
As for all these stupid pictures, I'm sure you'll want them as postcards. For sale - 5 dollars each. Unlimited use.
Cheers.
More to come on the Christmas Adventure.

BONUS MATERIAL!
I actually almost forgot I recorded this. The volume in this room is particularly high end for some reason. I'm guessing because everything is quieter, the camera tends to pick up the drums alot more. But I was actually playing really quietly. Oh well..
Anyway, this is the Jazz LPW Final as per last quarter, except only 2 songs this time around. Cheers.

Chatper Do & Nut
Captain's log, Tuesday, September 22.
We set out on the bi-pod explorer out of headquarters with a mission. After consulting the maps of Googol, we acquired a location. It was going to be an interesting day and an interesting hunt. The location wasn't too far. In fact is was nearer than expected. Since the other points in the map referred to somewhere much further, we decided to go for it.
We set our destination for... 'THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY".
Armed with the allocated credits required and a storage unit and hydration fluid, we set out on the trail provided by the map. Eyes peeled, we slowed as we reached the intersection. But the Factory was nowhere to be seen. The location was wiped from existence. Someone, or something didn't want us to find the Factory. We went twice round the block, hoping to have missed it the first time, but alas the location was completely removed.
We returned back to Headquarters, feeling defeated.
The map of Googol had lied. We hooked up our research team and found out that the Factory had long since been replaced by a Pizzeria. Our mission was postponed, but not defeated. Further research revealed a further location. It would be harder, but we would never give up.

Captain's log, Wednesday, September 23.
After a strong headache had knocked us out last night, we awoke refreshed and ready for the second attempt. The enemy must have been trying to keep us from finding our destination more than we thought.
With the Bi-pod armed and ready to go and the storage unit prepped, we headed out for the second time. The distance was a near 7 Milosse there, and another 7 Milosse back. It would be a long run. Thankfully the terrain was clear and smooth. We set off at 1100 hours.
On the way, we came across this.
The huge monument was amazing. It was the West Angeles Cathedral. The moment was awe inspiring. Note: Explore the monument in next adventure.
Moving on, the journey was getting tougher. Thankfully the Bi-pod handled the small crests well. After 50 zectominutes, we saw it. The shining beacon of hope and happiness. The mission was a success. We found it. We found it at last.
Quickly, we docked the Bi-pod and entered the station.
"1 dozen Original Glazed please!"
The container was far larger than expected. Thankfully, the storage unit was large enough the accomodate the container. Once everything was strapped in, we prepared for the journey back. It would be tough. The Bi-pod energy was running low. The hydration fluid was warm due to the extreme temperatures outside.
Another 50 minutes later, Headquarters.
We opened the storage unit and inspected the container.
All is good. The container had survived the arduous journey home. And it was intact. We carefully opened it to reveal the goods.
The smell completely filled HQ. But wait.. something's missing...
There we go.
Mission complete.
We took a shower, flipped on the A/C and sat down to enjoy the spoils.
Delicious.
